Spotlight Organization: Visiting Orphans
This month’s spotlight organization is Visiting Orphans. Read on to learn about the work God is doing through this ministry & how you can help.
What the Ministry is All About
Visiting Orphans is committed to seeing lives transformed by empowering and equipping Christ-followers to GO to the nations, BE focused on relationship and LOVE like Christ by caring for children and communities worldwide. Team members and leaders are equipped to go and serve partner orphanages, communities and ministries around the world. The goal is to encourage those who are doing the day to day work, to assist in that work, to help raise awareness as each partner sees fit and above all – to love people in Jesus’ name.
What People Should Know
Visiting Orphans’ trips are all about building relationships rather than being project-focused. This organization believes strongly that their ministry is two-fold and therefore they are passionate about investing in those they visit and those they send. Visiting Orphans strives to be a mission-sending organization that does short-term mission trips well.
