The Missed Connection** benefit provides coverage if you miss your trip departure because your arrival at your trip destination is delayed for 3 or more hours. * Missed Connection coverage only applies to your outbound travel.
If you miss your connection:
- Make sure to save all of your receipts for the additional transportation cost you incur due to the missed connection.
- Get a statement from the airline documenting the delay. (This can usually be requested through the Customer Service page of the airline’s website.)
- When you get home, report your claim here. Our staff will follow up with you within 24 business hours with instructions to file a claim.
