DIY Luggage Markers: Make Your Bag Stand Out
If you’ve got a black or other popular colored suitcase like most of the population, you may have found yourself standing in front of the luggage return wondering which one is yours. Marking your bag is easy can save you a lot of time and the potential embarrassment of selecting the wrong bag! Check out our DIY ideas:
1. Simple ribbon
Perhaps the most popular and easiest solution – find a brightly colored ribbon around the house and tie it to your suitcase handle.
2. Old cord
Most of us have a million old charger cords around the house and we can’t even remember what they used to go to. Take one of these cords and wrap it around the handle as an easy luggage marker. Cords are sturdier than ribbons so you don’t have to worry about it getting ripped.
3. Headwrap
Use a brightly colored headwrap or headband and tie it around the handle. Bonus: Wear it when you arrive.
4. Keychain
Keychains are another thing we accumulate with seemingly little use for. Pick one you won’t mind if you lose and attach it to the zipper of your suitcase for easy identification.
